The Apple River Fort State Historic Site is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of the Apple River Fort, the Black Hawk War, and the stories of the people on both sides of the war. As such, we offer several resources both at the site and online. Visitors, researchers, and educators are welcome to browse and use any resources listed here.
